MC&T Limited is proud to announce the successful completion and official handover of the Ilorin Innovation Hub, a groundbreaking infrastructure project that marks a new era for technology and entrepreneurship in Kwara State.
The state-of-the-art facility was handed over to the Kwara State Government in a ceremony attended by top government officials, industry stakeholders, and media representatives. The Innovation Hub, envisioned to be a hub for creativity, tech development, and youth empowerment, was constructed by MC&T Limited.
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Abdulsalam Omole, Director of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at MC&T Limited, expressed gratitude to the Kwara State Government and her partner IHS for entrusting the company with the construction of this visionary project.
“From the inception of this project, our goal was to build a space that inspires creativity, fosters technological advancement, and supports entrepreneurial growth,” said Omole. “We are confident the Ilorin Innovation Hub will be a catalyst for knowledge exchange, skills development, and economic empowerment in the region.”
Commissioner for Business, Innovation, and Technology, Damilola Yusuf Adegoke, praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to youth development and technology. She noted that the Innovation Hub aligns with the administration’s goal of creating a thriving ecosystem for startups and digital talent in the state.
Dr. Segun Ogunsile, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, also commended the governor and highlighted the project as a testament to Kwara’s place on the global innovation map.
The Managing Director of the Ilorin Innovation Hub, Temitope Kolawole, emphasized the facility’s role in enabling entrepreneurship and innovation through access to tools, resources, and mentorship.
